How do I promote my insurance/work from home business for free and still get a good outcome on prospects?
If you are interested in businesses using your services (not sure if you meant business or personal–just "insurance" is kind of vague –lot to choose from there! Agent? Adjuster? Broker? etc…), you need to make sure that they get to know your name and face. Visit often…Take them a basket of home-baked goodies along with some business cards. Send birthday and holiday cards to business owners you are trying to "woo". Gain their friendship AND their trust. You'd be surprised how much business you can get for yourself, using a little bit of old-fashioned values!
There are also some great networking groups (nationwide!) that you can join…some are free and others have a membership fee that varies –check with your local Chamber of Commerce and they should be able to point you in the right direction.
Whatever you choose to do, I wish you much business and the best of luck!

The only way to promote your business for free from your home is to use your telephone and cold call folks.References :
