You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies.
You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job.
These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as "work at home" because they would hear from too many unqualified people.
does anyone have any ideas of easy home/online businesses i could possibly make some cash from while stuck at home pregnant? I left my job because it was too far too travel, now im finding it hard to get any work!! My work background is online marketing which could be helpful..

For example, if you love home decorating, you should brainstorm ideas for how to start a business with that at its center. Typical online business ideas might be an advice service where visitors to your site can post questions and you post answers, a website that sells home decor products, a newsletter with great ideas for the home (a la Martha Stewart), or an ebook describing ways to update and enhance one’s home. Whatever your passion is, you can build a business around it online. The Internet has made it possible to provide information on just about any topic, and reach a national or global audience for your products and services.

No major website investment is needed either. You can start simply with an email address, without having to build a website right at the outset. By signing up to be an affiliate of a larger online merchant, you can resell or remarket that merchant’s products and get paid a percentage of the sales you are responsible for.
You can move up to a website where you provide valuable information on the topic you’ve chosen, building trust with your visitors, and then “monetize” or make profitable, that website by adding advertising and products that can be purchased directly from your site. Again, you can act as an affiliate and list products for sale that are then shipped by your partner merchant. Or, you can sell your own items as well.
The bottom line is, don’t ask what the “best online business for mothers” is, because that answer will depend on what is the best business for you. With the right tools and focus you can find an online business for mothers that you love and that brings profit and income.
