I just started network marketing home business. And my question is what can i write off for the taxes? I know that I can write off millage, office equipment. What else can I write off. How do I write off a cell bill I use for personal and business? Any sites where I can find this?

If you have a cell phone on an unlimited minute plan, $0 is deductible.

As for the office equipment, you need to document (log) the time spent on personal vs.business use. updating your facebook page is personal time. So is twitter.

For mileage, keep a log of what each trip was for, who you met, and what business you got from it. Taking someone out to dinner that you never get business from is not going to pass muster with the IRS.

1. Mileage for business
2. Office equipment is capital expense. You can get section 179 deduction.
3. Home office rent for part of home office space that you use exclusively for business.
4. Telephone, if one phone, then generally no deduction. You may use another phone exclusively for business.
5. Internet connection for business use.

Hello I have been looking into some network marketing companies that want me to do some Online Internet Home Based Business Opportunity, but I have 2 kids. Is that the best route for me to go?

I agree with Landon.

If you do your due diligence, you will find that many of these websites have been there for years, meaning they are successful.

Not to say that there aren’t any scams, because there are.

Be careful of the ones that promise overnight riches for doing practically nothing. The saying, "If it sounds too good to be true…." applies.

Internet marketing is a real and viable business, and if you are willing to put in the time and effort it can be accomplished.

You can even set up your business using completely free to use tools, software and tutorials.

Check out this website for a list of some free tools you can use. It lists great free tutorials made just for newbies that give step-by-step instructions on how to do it.

Please suggest a company or website through which we can really earn some money by doing some work from home like data entry and submitting the finished work online and get paid, but not clicking on ads or receiving sms on phone or referring my friends to a network marketing loop etc. If you really know the answer, plz tell me… or else, please keep quiet, dont give unnecessary advices… that’s a big help. Thanks in advance.

I honestly don’t know of any company that actually has a legit business doing this. If it sounds too good to be true, it is!
