You see, SYSTEMS and TECHNOLOGY are clearly the future of our industry. But most network marketers have absolutely no clue how to take advantage of them. Well, if you want to differentiate yourself from ‘The Masses’, and experience success in network marketing like most can’t even dream of, just put your name and information below to see the secret ‘Systems And Technologies’ we’re quitely using to make a fortune…
In Part I of this article, I raised the question of whether or not the entrepreneurial path is right for you. After all, not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur. I also gave you some food for thought to help you determine if perhaps a network marketing business is an option worthy of your consideration. At this point, an assumption is being made that you’ve read part I and have determined that you do have the entrepreneurial spirit and you’re interested in network marketing. So, with that said, let’s go ahead and dig a little deeper, shall we?
Firstly, are you a people person? Network marketing is a true “people helping people” business and this is a good thing. When you’re working with, and helping others, you’re essentially helping them to solve their problems. And, many people who win in business are successful because they’re great problem solvers. Think about it, on a grand scale, Bill Gates is one of the world’s wealthiest people because his company creates software to help people and businesses solve problems. On a smaller, localized scale, think of the successful restaurant known for good quality, inexpensive food. Their success stems from helping mom and dad solve the “what’s for dinner” dilemma.
One more thing worthy of mention on this people helping people concept: it’s been said that a certain path to getting everything in life you want is to help enough other people get what they want in life. The more people you help, the better your chances of realizing the success you seek.
Are you coachable? This may be the most important question you’ll need to answer to determine if MLM is the right business for you. Let me explain: most people who get involved with network marketing (aka MLM, multi level marketing or social marketing) do not have any kind of a meaningful business background. Operating a successful business requires a number of crucial business skills. These skills include effective communication, organization and most of all, marketing.
If you do not possess these skills that’s OK. As long as you’re open to working with your upline people to develop yourself as a business person you’ll be fine. Some people think they already know everything and their way is the best way or the only way. If that person is you then there’s a good chance network marketing is not for you. Building a successful MLM business requires some outside the box thinking so being able to accept instruction from those more experienced is important.
Are you thorough? Anything done half fast is never good enough in business. If you get involved in a business and you’re provided with a plan and directions from your upline then it’s up to you to follow through with those plans. Cutting corners and weak efforts on your part will not fly. As it’s been said; in business, “good enough” is never good enough.
Of course, who you choose to work with to start a network marketing business is critical. If you’ll be taking business coaching and business plans from somebody else, you better darn well make sure that person knows their stuff. You can read books and study courses on building the skills you’ll need to succeed in business and I highly recommend that you do. But, your upline sponsor should be the person you wish to become.
There’s no doubt that working with the right people to build a network marketing business is of the utmost importance. However, your success is your responsibility. To succeed, you’ll need to think like a business person, act like a business person and conduct yourself in every way like a true business person. If you treat your network marketing business like a hobby it will lead to frustration and eventually failure. If you treat it like the legitimate business that it is, then you’ll be giving yourself a great chance of succeeding. Note I said “giving yourself a great chance”. Nobody will build your business for you. They’ll help you, oh yes they will, but they’re not going to do the required work for you. That, my friend, is up to you. Are you ready for the challenge?
This is the fourth in a series of articles on the MLM / social marketing / network marketing industry. In the next article I’ll give you some ideas on what you’d want to look for in the person or people you choose to do business with. Your business partners, on many levels, are even more important than the business you get involved in.
If you’d like to ensure that you don’t miss out on any installments in this series, I’d be happy to send past and future articles directly to you. Just shoot me an email and I’ll include you on my direct distribution list.

span style=”font-size: 12pt; font-family: “Times New Roman”;”>Online network marketing is generally misunderstood by the offline crowd, especially those that built their organizations in the 80’s or 90’s and haven’t adjusted to the “Flat Earth” realities that have changed marketing forever.
They worry that online network marketing is impersonal. They don’t believe you can build a relationship online.
The fact is, ALL business is relationship based. At some level, a person has to know, like and trust a person or company before they will make a purchase. And the stronger the relationship, the more likely they are to stick and stay. And the fact is, most online network marketers don’t appreciate the value of the relationship in the process.
Here are the 4 “C’s” of online network marketing, hopefully this will help you whether you are an online network marketer trying to understand the process, or a skeptical “old school” marketer.
CAPTURE. The first “c” is to Capture a lead. Just like in traditional marketing, it starts with a list. The only difference is the traditional marketer makes a list of their friends and family, while the online network marketer uses attraction marketing techniques to build a list of targeted, interested prospects.
CULTIVATE. This is where most marketers mess up. You have to Cultivate your list! This is where the relationship begins. Through a series of communications with your list, they get to know you and your opportunity and can get to know, like and trust you over time. Again, the old school crowd thinks that’s only possible through local meetings and phone calls etc. But the fact is e-mail, auto-response series, social connecting methods, live chat etc. are all valid ways of getting to know people, and can all be used to build a relationship with your prospects.
CLOSE. Sales is simply a matter of explaining a good product or opportunity in an intelligent way, and asking somebody to buy. Network Marketing is no different, you demonstrate your business online, then invite them to join. Very few companies have sites good enough to get automated sign-ups, so you have to find a way to directly communicate and invite your prospect to get started. The nice thing about online network marketing is you have many more people in the front of the funnel, putting the law of averages in your favor and increasing your chances of getting monthly recruits into your business.
COACH. Once somebody has joined your business, you just have to show them exactly how to do what you just did. There are five primary things you must train your new recruit:
1. Be a product of the product (use your companies products correctly and be on the best auto-ship.)
2. Develop a strong Why and a business plan.
3. Become a student of the business and of the industry.
4. Let the tools do the selling.
5. Make a long term commitment. Quitters never win.
So that’s it, the 4 C’s of online network marketing: Capture, Cultivate, Close and Coach. If you follow this simple plan you can build a dynamic, growing organization and attract your prospects instead of chase them.

If you are tired of working 9-5 for a pay check then you might want to consider looking for a network marketing opportunity. With a network marketing opportunity, you can own your own business and share a companies products and it’s opportunity with others.
As an independent agent of a network marketing company, you have the opportunity to sell the products for a commission of retail sales. The representative that has the most retail sales gets the most commissions. This is an amazing opportunity for those who are self-motivated and don’t mind setting goals and achieving those goals. It’s always easier to sell products that you are passionate about so keep this in mind when choosing which network marketing company to join.
Another way to make money with a network marketing opportunity is through recruitment and sharing the knowledge with other potential sales representatives. You offer them the same opportunity to be their own boss and work the business the same way you have been doing. When they sign up for the opportunity, they become your personal recruits. This allows you to earn commissions off what they sell. The more you recruit, the more you earn and all this is on top of your personal sales commission.
The biggest obstacle most people face in network marketing is finding prospects or leads to sell products to or to offer their business opportunity to. That’s where using a funded proposal helps. A funded proposal involves selling an inexpensive but useful product to cover your advertising and marketing expenses and then later introducing your real products or network marketing opportunity.
There are many benefits to using a funded proposal which include: generating revenue for advertising, learning to generate free targeted leads for life, customers become pre-trained and educated about online marketing techniques, gaining the trust and respect of your customers who may potentially become your business partners by building a relationship with them first and new sales representatives can be in a positive cash flow situation immediately.
Using a funded proposal is the best way to recruit in network marketing. All network marketers should be using this system.
You still have to work hard to become successful in network marketing. As always, please check the reputation of the company before signing up. There are many reputable companies out there. Look for longevity and others who have been successful and by all means, use a funded proposal for marketing your opportunity. Good luck and enjoy your new business.

Trying to find the best place to get Network Marketing leads can be difficult. Especially when you’re not sure which ones to get. It’ll have you asking yourself, “Where is the best place to get the best Network Marketing leads”.
So, what I’m going to do is share with you the top 3 places you can get leads for your network marketing business. That way, you will know where to get the best leads and prospects for your business.
The best places to get leads are:
1. Lead Brokers. This is one place to get leads for your Network Marketing business. Lead Brokers sell various types of leads. The leads you want to buy are some consumer leads or buyer leads. They are leads that have bought something in relation to what you are marketing.
An example is if you are marketing travel, you want to buy leads that have purchased plane tickets or leads that have went on a cruise. If you market weight loss products, you want to get leads that have purchased a weight loss product before.
Usually, Lead Brokers will try to sell you opportunity seeking leads. Those leads are worthless. It doesn’t matter if the leads are double- or triple qualified. It also doesn’t matter if they’re super fresh. So, be careful when dealing with Lead Brokers.
2. Your Network Marketing Company. This is another place for you to get Network Marketing leads. Your company may try to sell you leads. Although it’s in their best interest for you to succeed, usually they will sell you opportunity leads or junk leads.
The leads they’re selling you come from some survey about finding a job. The leads aren’t interested in joining a Network Marketing business. Also, these particular leads will cost you $1 on up to $50, which is terrible for you.
3. Generate Them Yourself. This is the best way to get Network Marketing leads. You can use various marketing techniques to get you thousands of leads. Some of the techniques will allow you to generate free leads, which is how a lot of the top income earners are making their money.
These are some of the best places to get Network Marketing leads. If you’re serious about growing your downing, be sure to get some leads. It’s the best way to build your business.
Now that you have the answer to your question, “Where is the best place to get Network Marketing leads”, go out and generate your own leads. It is the best way to get leads and it will guarantee that you will succeed in your Network Marketing business.
